Pacific Patriots Network (PPN) views Governor Brown’s action yesterday as a leadership failure, placing unwarranted blame on Federal authorities. PPN has formally requested the Governor provide a mediator to moderate a discussion leading to resolution of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation.
In light of Governor Brown’s transferring operational control to Federal authorities, PPN reemphasizes our position;
We maintain a neutral position and desire a peaceful resolution to the current situation.
PPN is established as a peaceful buffer between authorities and the refuge occupiers and is acting as an “overwatch” deterrent to any violent action.
PPN will not tolerate a Waco situation occurring that results in murder.
PPN has been working diligently to bring all parties to the table for peaceful resolution. This was demonstrated today with Ammon Bundy approaching the Federal Bureau of Investigation to open a dialogue. This is a positive first step and we support continued communication between all parties involved.
