Pacific Patriots Network (PPN) is closely monitoring the Federal Prosecutors
Pacific Patriots Network (PPN) is closely monitoring the Federal Prosecutors request seeking a protective order regarding evidence in the prosecution of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupiers.
PPN expresses concern that the Federal Government is seeking to constrain transparency in the court proceedings which are of media and public concern. We condemn U.S. District Judge Anna J. Brown’s order on Friday that the defendants "shall not have unsupervised access'' to the material (evidence). This action by the court is a violation of the defendants Constitutionally protected VI Amendment rights.
PPN urges full disclosure and transparency in all proceedings. PPN challenges the Federal Government labeling these individuals are a “danger to society”, as they have non-violent histories. Exercising an individual’s 1st Amendment right does not justify being placed into solitary confinement, without conviction of a crime, in violation of 8th Amendment rights.
It appears the Federal Government is going beyond it’s authority and influencing the condition and treatment of these individuals while detained. PPN call’s on all watchdog organizations to monitor the treatment of these prisoners and take steps to ensure their Constitutionally protected rights are not violated as we witnessed with the death of LaVoy Finicum.

The United States of America vs two men who defended their country in critical times and are now being bullied by the very same country they were defending.
Quite a few years ago, a young man was camping in the mountains of Montana. He came across someone who appeared to need some help loading his truck. He offered his assistance and the rest is history.
